It was a nice, quiet Halloween with some great friends, food, pumpkin beer, and a fire.

Well, no check points were found, but the kids enjoyed a trip to Shryock’s Corn Maze anyway.

Laura was supposed to play in the Pep Band for the district football game tonight, but the band left after pre-game. It was rainy and cold, which does not make for great sound from a band.

Laura attended Agriculture Day at Hickman High School. One of the tables was giving away plant cuttings from a Wandering Jew. Laura decided that she really wanted one and then named the cutting, “Ricardo.” Today, Andy helped Laura transplant Ricardo, and he is currently sitting in our living room window.


John helped Andy mow the lawn today and now we have a backup plan to our weekly mowing service. He was pretty proud of himself and he earned $20.
