It was so good! This one is a keeper.

Andy got to see a few deer this morning at Camp Hohn.

For lunch, the scouts had to make food using random ingredients and no recipe. Laura said that it was challenging to have to figure out what ingredients to put together and how much to use of each ingredient to make something tasty.

Of course, most of the day was spent playing video games even if it was on their own phones.

It was another fun campout at Camp Hohn for my scouts.
Andy and John are off to a scout campout and Laura will join them tomorrow.

My office looked like something out of the late 1980s – mauve-colored trim, pink tile, and purple carpeting. All of it was at least 25 years old. Well, one of my goals has been to update the trim color, fix the damaged floor, and replace the flooring and carpet. I finally was able to make that happen this year. The trim was painted charcoal gray in September, and there has been continual flooring work for the last two weeks. This is our library area after the old carpeting was removed. Notice that “beautiful” tile?

This is the after.

It is a fresh new look and I am thrilled with the results! I love it so much that I smile every time I walk into work now.
Laura is Grubmaster for the upcoming scout campout, so she made the shopping list for me. When she told me the girls were making spaghetti for dinner, I said, “Do you need me to make sauce?” She responded with, “No. I told them that I had a recipe and that I could make it, but they said we were having sauce from a jar. It’s crappy jarred sauce, Mom.” My work here is done. I have officially ruined jarred spaghetti sauce for her. Now, maybe it is time to teach her how to make something other than my spaghetti sauce…

I am not sure, but I don’t think the kids wanted their picture taken…
