From Kindergarten to Eighth Grade Graduation…

Both kids will be in the same school again next year, but it is Hickman High School this time. It is only two years to Laura graduating and four years to John graduating.

How did time get so away from me? It seems like John just started Kindergarten, yet here we are talking about being a Freshman. This mom is not ready.

I am so proud of these boys! It was a bit of a rough start on the day, but the Mid-MO Stars pulled it together to bring home another tournament win. In case anyone is counting, that is Championship #11 in just over two years. Thanks to this great group of young men for making me love to watch baseball. Without you, I wouldn’t know how lucky I am. Way to getcha some, boys!

It’s what’s for dinner.

Both of our Scouts are Patrol Leaders! Laura was elected Senior Patrol Leader for Troop 523.

John was elected Patrol Leader for the Hounds.

Way to go, kiddos!
John’s last band concert at West Middle School was tonight.

Both the Eighth Grade Band and the Jazz Ensemble played a total of seven songs.

Both of the bands sounded great, but the highlight of the evening was definitely “Bohemian Rhapsody”. It was a fun end to middle school band. On to Hickman High School!
