BikeMS
Andy completed another BikeMS this weekend.
He rode 100 miles on Saturday and 75 miles on Sunday.
I am so proud of him for continuing to do this year after year!
First SEMO Game
It was Laura’s first SEMO football game with the marching band.
She was nervous, but also excited. Her day started at 8:00 am with a parade. That was followed by a series of smaller performances, on-field rehearsal, and then Redhawk Walk. Laura was one of only three freshman to be selected for Redhawk Walk, so she was very excited about that. Finally, the SEMO Marching Band took the field for pre-game at about 5:30 PM.
Laura said that she had a great time and enjoyed the entire day. Marching Band really is her “home.”
I just wish that we could have been there to watch her first game day, but we will be there for the next one. I was happy that she had a great time, and that she got to watch SEMO football win in double overtime. Go Redhawks!
Friday Night Lights
The absolute best part of Friday Night Lights for me will always be the Hickman High School Marching Band!
The season has begun!
Starship
Laura had her dinner delivered by the new Starship Technologies robots. These things are fun to watch, and Laura finds them incredibly cute. She finally decided to order just to give the delivery service a try. I insisted on a selfie because I love these things too!
