Going Through Life One Blog Post at a Time
It was the last Tuesday night practice for the Hickman High School Marching Band. Despite the rainy weather, it was great to watch a show for just family and friends!

The kids were off school today, but I had to work. I got really busy and forgot to take a picture. It happens sometimes.
We took the kids to their first Renaissance Festival today. We chose St. Louis because it is an easy drive.

We got to see some good shows. Crazy Boy Coy was one of our favorites.

We also enjoyed the joust though the Renaissance Festival needs to do some work on the facilities. The sound system did not work well and you could not hear most of the script.

While we had fun, I think we will go to the Kansas City Renaissance Festival next year.

We spent the evening at the Fues Household. We tried many different kinds of homemade mead and enjoyed good food.

We all got some game time.

It was a nice, relaxing evening that we all very much enjoyed!
All the house plants that spend their summers outside have been moved inside. This poinsettia literally doubled in size. I wonder if some of those leaves that look lighter are close to turning red?
