It is new helmet day for me! It is not anywhere near as exciting as new bike day, but it will do.

It is getting real for John. It is just two short months to Hickman High School baseball team tryouts.

And, Semester two begins…

Andy and the kids visited the mules today while out on their bike ride.

It is time to try something new. I love a good Espresso Martini, so here we go!

It is definitely not bad. I might have to get more at some point.
2022 was not my finest year. It sucked – a lot. Being a “woman of a certain age” can screw with your brain and thoughts in a whole lot of negative ways, and let’s just say that I reacted poorly more than I would care to admit. Somewhere in September, I started realizing what was going on, but it took until the very end of 2022 for me to finally say, “ENOUGH.” So, we started 2023 with a ride to Cooper’s Landing with AMAZING bike friends and gorgeous weather.

When I said the weather was gorgeous, I mean that it was 70 degrees and the views over the Big Muddy were beautiful.

I was reminded many times today that time on the bike with people I love can fix whatever ails me. Here is to a much better 2023! Thanks to the people who helped get this year started. You do not know how much it meant to me. It really was the PERFECT day.
