Troop 523 and Troop 706 participated in the Klondike campout today. Throughout the day, they competed in a variety of events.

The highlight of the day was the sled race where they took third place.

When all was said and done, they had 104 points for the win! Congratulations Scouts!

Andy and Laura are leaving to go to the BSA Klondike campout. Have a great time!

Meet Parker, our first grandchild. Yes, I realize Parker is a sock baby, but isn’t she super cute? Don’t worry. I have already shared some Mom wisdom. I told Laura to make sure that she rubs Parker’s belly when she cries to help with baby gas pains. Now, I just need to find a phone app that simulates a crying baby, so that I can make sure to wake up Laura in the middle of the night. Also, I need to find something that will stare at Laura to wake her up in the middle of the night. There are just so many possibilities for payback…

I finished the 2023 wall calendars for the grandparents and us. Again. I had finished it in December and placed an order, but the final file was corrupted. Unfortunately, I found out the file was corrupt about the time that I got sick with the urinary tract infection. I was finally able to remake the calendar and placed the order this morning. I can check another thing off my list!

Laura played with Kewpie Sound at the Hickman basketball games this evening. I was just glad to be feeling better, so I could go watch her.
