Going Through Life One Post at a Time
We spent part of the day at the Hickman High School baseball field helping to get the field ready for the season.
After a short workout for the boys and a parent meeting, Andy made us “baseball official” by putting the Hickman Baseball sticker on the car.
Let baseball season begin!
This is what happens when you decide it is time to start getting rid of all the Legos and Lego sets.
Andy is working on putting together all the different sets so that we can sell them while Laura works on all of the Harry Potter Lego sets.
To top it off, I sold the shelf that held the Lego bins. We need to get this done, so we can have our guest bedroom back…
John will be wearing some different colors on the baseball diamond for the next few months!
He is going to look great in purple and gold. Way to go, kid! Your Dad and I knew you could do it!
And, this is why I did not get a response when I yelled up the stairs to ask her to help me for a minute…
John was able to go to school today, and he made it to round 2 of baseball tryouts despite not feeling 100%. Way to play your heart out, Kid! Remember, it is okay if you do not make the team. Your Dad and I are just super proud of you for trying so hard.
This was not the way that we wanted Day 1 of Hickman Baseball tryouts for John to go. The good news is that he does not have Strep. The bad news is that he may not feel better tomorrow.
I spent most of the afternoon in the kitchen as I prepped breakfasts, made dessert, etc. It was nice to finally have some cooking time.
