St. Patrick’s Day

Things were a little different this year because my Scouts have a campout this weekend. So, Andy and I went to Flat Branch Pub and Brewing for a late lunch instead of our traditional, family dinner.

We enjoyed tasty food and good beer. Before we left, we ordered food for the kids, so that they can enjoy a little bit of the day even if it will be at home before they leave for the campout.

Differences

If I try to take pictures of them tomorrow, I will probably get a good picture from John and a series of pictures from Laura expressing her annoyance. I love teenagers…

Quiet

Back in the day, I used to panic when the house was quiet. No one wants quiet toddlers because it means that they are doing something that they shouldn’t. These days, I am more likely to find the boy at his computer…

…and, the girl selling turnips on Animal Crossing.

I truly love the quiet of teenagers, but I do miss the quiet of toddlers now and then…
