Going Through Life One Post at a Time
I have been a busy little bee today…

Things were a little different this year because my Scouts have a campout this weekend. So, Andy and I went to Flat Branch Pub and Brewing for a late lunch instead of our traditional, family dinner.

We enjoyed tasty food and good beer. Before we left, we ordered food for the kids, so that they can enjoy a little bit of the day even if it will be at home before they leave for the campout.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Cheeseburger Soup from Thriving Home Blog and Amish Cornbread is on the dinner menu tonight. Both are new recipes, and I hope both are keepers!

I asked Laura for a picture and got this.

I asked John for a picture and got an entire series. This is first attempt.

This is the second attempt.

This is the third attempt.

And, this is the last attempt.

If I try to take pictures of them tomorrow, I will probably get a good picture from John and a series of pictures from Laura expressing her annoyance. I love teenagers…
Back in the day, I used to panic when the house was quiet. No one wants quiet toddlers because it means that they are doing something that they shouldn’t. These days, I am more likely to find the boy at his computer…

…and, the girl selling turnips on Animal Crossing.

I truly love the quiet of teenagers, but I do miss the quiet of toddlers now and then…
My Aunt Mona scanned some old photos and then sent them to my Dad who forwarded the link to me. I finally got a chance to look at them today.

These were taken when I was maybe eight. That is over 40 years ago. Now, this is a real blast from the past…

The first set of new pictures for our living room that I ordered from Shutterfly arrived today. I am excited to update some of the older pictures. There are more on the way!
