College Visit

Laura’s first college visit was to Southeast Missouri State University (SEMO) in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

It proved successful, and SEMO is a definite possibility. Of course, she has to go there now because she got her picture taken with Rowdy the Redhawk!

I still cannot believe she is old enough to be visiting colleges. I have no idea how we got here quite this fast…

First College Visit

Andy and Laura left earlier this evening for Southeast Missouri State University for her first college visit tomorrow. I now know how my mom felt when I went for my first college visit. I am so excited and happy for her, yet sad and teary-eyed too. It is another reminder that I blinked, and we are just a few short months away from the start of her senior year. Time moves way too fast.

Baseball Pictures

I got a nice surprise while driving the kids to school today. The download link for John’s baseball pictures arrived! He took a great picture.

This is the team picture.

I already ordered copies of both. Baseball games start Monday for the C Team!

Band Concert

We spent the evening watching the different bands at Hickman High School.

John is in Concert Band, and he was sitting First Chair of the Trumpet section for this concert.

Laura is in Symphonic Winds and had a solo. She did such a great job!

All the bands sounded great. I love the music program at Hickman High School. Our kids are really lucky to be part of such a quality program.
