EMS Education signed off on Laura’s Eagle Project. That leaves the completion of five merit badges, and she is largely done with three of those. Keep going, Red, because the Eagle rank is truly within reach. I am so proud of you.

Let Food Prep February begin!

By the end of February, there will be 8 or more freezer meals, lots of marinated chicken, burgers, tomato soup, and just general frozen goodness. I might even slip in some homemade ice cream.

Getting to spend a lot of February in my happy place so that our freezer can be full makes me smile.

It is time to get to work!
Andy went to CycleX this evening to attend the Big Tree Cycling Yearly Kick-off. He had a fun time and is looking forward to getting back on the bike!

We went to see “The Play That Goes Wrong” this evening with this crew.

It is a play within a play, and it was about the funniest thing that I have seen in a long time. We all laughed so hard! It was well performed and just a great time.

If you ever get the chance to see it, you should go.
That boy of ours is getting more adventurous! Tonight, he tried sushi for the first time, and he actually liked it most of the rolls. Wonders never cease…

Laura made us breakfast for dinner to complete another requirement for the Cooking merit badge.

She made Gingerbread Waffles while Andy made sausage patties. Everything was so good, and the waffle recipe is definitely going on our database.

While on my walk today, I discovered this. I do not even know what to think.
