Recently, I discovered that several suppliers that I use for soap also make lotion bases. It actually turns out to be slightly cheaper than what I was buying every month at Target. So, I decided to give it a try.
It was super easy. I heated the lotion base using 30-second bursts in the microwave. When it reached 120 degrees and was liquid, I added fragrance oil and stirred well. Then, I poured it into bottles. After the lotion returned to a solid state, I put on the bottle cap and added labels.
It was so easy and I am looking forward to trying these out!
