Andy and I headed to Western Illinois University for a quick getaway.
We attended the WIU versus SEMO football game. Originally, we had hoped that Laura and a few of her friends would be able to come up, but they had Show Band for a basketball game. Andy and I still made the most of it!
As we tend to do, we found our “people” for the game. We found some SEMO football parents that were tailgating in the parking lot, so we ended up hanging out with them all day. It ended up being a great game even though WIU did not win.
The weather was beautiful, the drinks were great, and we had fun. W-E-S-T-E-R-N!
