Tonight, I decided to try to make layered soap, and I used obnoxious colors to determine if it worked. I did not let the first layer set up quite enough, and it was pretty obvious that I did not have layers. I ended up with a more tie-dyed look.
However, I did wait to pour the last bar until the first half of the bar had a strong film on it. One side was nearly perfect.
I feel pretty accomplished for my first time even if the soap is really ugly with those obnoxious colors…
