I dropped John off at Broadway Diner at 7:00 am for his first section breakfast of the year.
Then, it was off to Blue Springs South High School for the Kansas City Championships and the first marching band competition of the year.
It was a great first competition. The band has improved the show so much in just one, short week!
They finished first place in Class 3A for the morning session, and they finished third overall in the final competition. Also, they were one of only three bands that performed their full show.
Congratulations to the Hickman Marching Band, but especially to our Senior. We are so proud!
