We spent the day at Musket Cellars & Vineyard helping to bottle their next round of wines.

There were about 15 people there helping with the process, and it was so interesting to watch everything. A company that works with about 60 different wineries here in the midwest brings a mobile bottling trailer to the winery. After volunteers place the empty bottles on the line, the bottles are moved to the filling station and through the label station. Then, the volunteers would package, seal, and stack the full cases of wine.

Laura went with us to help and she really enjoyed the day as well.

By the end, we had worked for 6 1/2 hours, totaling nearly 10,000 bottles of wine.

We wrapped up our time at the winery enjoying some of the new types of wine that were added to the line. As always, the wine was excellent, and we came home with a case of the new wines.

We worked hard and we were tired afterwards, but we will definitely help again. It was such a fun experience!
