We woke up to snow this morning. This was the “lovely” view out of our hotel room window.
Cape Girardeau received about three inches of snow. We ventured out around noon to find an open restaurant for lunch. While it was still snowing, the roads were not bad. We ended up in downtown at Minglewood Brewery and enjoyed a tasty lunch.
After lunch, we went to Laura’s dorm to unpack. The newest item in her dorm room is a small microwave.
After unpacking, we went to a couple of stores to pick up snacks and other items. Despite the snow, it was a successful day. She is moved back into her dorm and ready for Spring Semester.
