We started today at the National World War I Museum and Memorial.

Even though it was cold and windy, we decided to go up in the tower. The views were impressive even for a cloudy day.

We spent the rest of the morning and part of the afternoon wandering through the museum.

The museum has an impressive amount of artifacts and we all enjoyed seeing the exhibits. Some highlights were the different uniforms, timeline wall, and tank. Everything is very well done and I think the kids learned a lot.

After a quick lunch, we spent the rest of the afternoon at the Sea Life Aquarium. A highlight for me is always the seahorses.

Being able to change the lighting in the jellyfish tank provided some interesting pictures. This one looks like a big, red brain.

While the aquarium is small, it was still fun to wander through and see everything.

We ended the day enjoying dinner at Como Smoke and Fire. It was a short trip, but I am glad that we managed to squeeze in some family time during Spring Break.
