Andy went to the Columbia City Council meeting this evening to show support for adding trails to the Park Sales Tax project list. PedNet led the effort with both a letter-writing campaign and lobbying in front of the Council. More than 40 people were there for this effort. It proved to be successful as all the council members were in support of adding trails to the list. They directed city staff to update the project list and bring a new list back for approval. Sometimes, even a small amount of support from individual people can make a big difference.
