I love to bake even though I rarely eat anything I bake. Yes, I am aware that is weird, but it is how I am. I am in my element at Thanksgiving because pies are my thing. Christmastime is a different story. I despise baking cookies. So, Andy answers the baking call this time of year and he serves as the Kassel Family Cookie Chef.
We now have Grandma Vi’s Butter Cookies, Gingerbread Cookies, and Zimmerschied (Brown Sugar Cookies).
Kolaczkis are also on the menu. I think I will keep the Cookie Chef around for a while longer.
