Happy Easter!

He is risen!

Happy Easter from our family to yours! It wasn’t the “normal” Easter, but it was still amazing. It was old traditions mixed with some new as John knows we are the Easter Bunny now. The kids enjoyed hunting for Easter baskets. Laura’s was in the basement…

…while John’s was in the garage.

It was fun watching the kids hunt because they looked in all the standard places, but they just could not believe that the Easter Bunny put their baskets in odd places. They were so excited to finally find them! Laura especially loved her Harry Potter Lego set.

John’s favorite were the two Xbox games.

The excitement for Easter presents is still fun to watch in the kids. They even enjoyed egg hunting though Andy only hid the eggs that had chocolate in them.

That Easter Bunny gets more tricky every year! The kids were often confused even at the obvious hiding places.

We spent the afternoon watching the first of the two “Jumanji” movies. It was really quite funny and it was such a fun time!

We followed up the first movie with a tasty dinner of lamb chops, mashed potatoes, cabbage steaks, and Angel food cake.

We ended the day with the second “Jumanji” movie. It was a great day with the family during this truly crazy time. Happy Easter!
