John is having a blast at Boy Scout Camp working on rank requirements and five merit badges! He is dirty (he has not showered yet and has a slushie mustache), exhausted, and living the boy life.
It was so good to see him tonight and know that he is having fun. Even Big Sister was happy to see him.
John showed us around Camp Geiger and then we all enjoyed slushies from the Trading Post while we waited for pizza to arrive for dinner.
We ended the evening at the closing campfire. Afterwards, we each gave John a hug goodbye and told him that we will see him on Saturday. He’s going to be a tired mess, but he will be a happy mess.
