A puppy (maybe six months old) that looks like a Yorkshire Terrier mix wandered onto our street today following some kids that were walking through the neighborhood. Laura and John, along with our neighbor – Hailey, put a leash on him to prevent him from continuing to wander. We tried to find his owner on NextDoor, but we had no luck. We ended up dropping him off at the Central Missouri Humane Society this evening. It was hard for me to leave him there, but he obviously belonged to someone because he had a collar. I hope they are successful in locating his owner because I might not be able to say no to adopting him if he is not claimed after six days…
