John’s fielding is really improving. Tonight, he caught a high pop fly in centerfield and then threw the ball to second base to complete the double play (the runner had started running to third base and didn’t get back in time to tag up). When I asked John about it, he said that no one told him to throw the ball to second base. He just knew to do it. He made several other good fielding plays as well and caught every ball that was thrown to him while he played first. I think that all the playing catch with Daddy and his friends is really starting to pay off!
