Happy Mother’s Day! This was a strange Mother’s Day for me in that Laura was not here. She had the opportunity to go to Six Flags for free with her best friend, Annabelle. I know it is Mother’s Day, but I didn’t want to deny her that first Six Flags experience, so she spent the day with her friend. Laura had a GREAT time! She got to ride lots of rides including her first and second and third roller coaster. She also got the pleasure of getting stuck on the Log Flume (just like me once). I am glad that we let her go even though it was hard not having her here with me for the day.
As for John, he spent most of the day playing with friends from our neighborhood. Andy took a bike ride and I got to actually relax! I got some quiet time to myself and I got to TAKE A NAP! Now, *that* was an amazing gift. Happy Mother’s Day to all you great Moms out there!
