It was a day of Scouting for both Laura and John. Laura attended “Junior Girl Scout Survivor” at Silver Meadows Camp. It was a day of learning survival skills and working on her Camping badge. She had a great time and earned a fun patch for the back of her Junior Vest.
John spent the day at Pinewood Derby Districts. His car did not win anything, but we were impressed that Turbocop finished seventh overall. His car raced faster at Districts than at his Pack’s Pinewood Derby. It was a good day and John was very proud. Way to go John (and Daddy)!
