I took John to Target this morning to pick out Valentine’s Day cards for his class. He was so excited to find Monster Jam Valentine’s cards with Monster Jam pencils that he was actually jumping up and down!
Because Laura had a sleepover last night, she did not go with us to Target. I took a guess, and, luckily, it paid off! She will be making her own cards from a kit that I found.
I bought some stickers to go with the kit and Laura was very happy that she didn’t have to give the same old boring cards “over and over again.” We also bought Dum-Dums suckers and Airheads to include on each card.
Laura sat down to work on her cards first. She was having a great deal of fun with making each card different.

John sat down a bit later to work on his cards.
He started with choosing the card for Reagan Lyman (his “girlfriend”) and got through most of his class. In case you were wondering, Reagan’s card is the pink one, or “The Queen because she is way *awesome* Mom!).
The kids will finish up their cards during the coming week and will “deliver” the cards next Monday.
