It is time to decorate Easter eggs! Eighteen this year as none of the eggs cracked during the hard boiling process. I must be getting better at this…
This year, the kids did most of the work. We even trusted them to put the eggs in the dye. It is hard to believe! John went first and was very excited to finally get to put an egg in the mug.
Laura went second because she needed some “creative” time, meaning that she used a white crayon to draw a design on what would be a blue egg.
Both kids did not really like waiting while the eggs sat in the dye, *but* they are getting better at it. At least they now understand that the longer you leave the eggs in, the better the color. No more repeating ourselves a thousand times…
I think our Easter eggs turned out very pretty. We are all ready for tomorrow and the arrival of the Easter Bunny!
