Laura was sick yesterday and missed school. Because she missed school, she didn’t get to make her bag for valentines. Laura came home today in near tears because she didn’t get the chance to make her bag because it was a crazy busy school day. I emailed her teacher to ask what color bag they had used (fully intending to buy a bag so that Laura could make her Valentine’s bag this weekend). I was reminded *yet again* what a fantastic school my kids are absolutely lucky enough to attend. Thank you so very, very much to Laura Sandstedt for taking time out of your Friday night to run a small, white paper bag by our house. You, along with all the other Ridgeway teachers, just make me say “thank you, thank you, thank you.”
