With Andy at Balfour Leadership Training Workshop, our monthly trip to Kid’s Workshop at Home Depot had to be adjusted. Usually, I take pictures while he helps the kids build the project. Also, if Andy is out of town, the kids and I go to Home Depot and pick up the project for building at a later time. This is the first time that I have helped the kids with their projects and it went very well. Both Laura and John built nearly all of the pencil crate without assistance. I only helped to line up the pieces, start a few nails, and hold the project while they hammered the nails. John was especially proud of himself because he did so much of the project on his own. Great job kiddos!
In order to celebrate our success at Home Depot, I took the kids to lunch at Sonic. It was a great morning with my kids!
