We got to attend Camp MUDD Family Night at Laura’s summer camp tonight. She’s attending Camp MUDD from July 1-August 9. It’s her first experience with summer camp and she is loving every minute of it. She’s most excited because she gets to sleepover tonight (and two other times during camp). It’s really neat for Andy and I to see her be so excited about this new experience! On sleepover nights, Camp MUDD has Family Nights. They do a short presentation that includes camp songs and skits. Afterwards, your child can take you on a tour of the camp grounds. What a fun night!

We left Camp MUDD about 8 pm with a sad little brother because he was missing his big sister. That sadness changed when he figured out that he had Daddy and I all to himself for a bit. John helped Andy water the outside plants and then we put him to bed. Here’s to hoping he sleeps well all night and that Laura has a fantastic time at her first camp sleepover!
