Breakfast With Your Parents

Upon arrival at Walnut Street Day School today, John and I discovered that it was “Breakfast With Your Parents” day.  John and I sat down and had donuts, orange juice, and milk together.  He was really proud to show me his new classroom and school!  While we ate, he pointed out different activities in his classroom and talked about his favorite activities.  He also said that it is “I” and “6” week, which means that they focus learning on the letter “I” and the number “6” this week.   There were only two downsides to this extra time with my little man this morning – I did not have either my phone or pocket camera, meaning no pictures, and John cried when I left because I stayed too long and he wanted me to remain at school with him.  I loved every minute of that short time though because it meant that John got to show me around his new “world.”
