The kids and I went to Alia Lowery’s 4th Birthday Party today. To say that Laura and John were excited would be an understatement. On the way to Alia’s house, Laura asked me, “Will they have party hats?”
She was especially excited to find that the party hats were Hello Kitty! Her favorite parts of the party included decorating goodie bags and the ice cream. (Like me, she is not a big cake fan. Give her frosting and ice cream and she is good to go!) John’s favorite part of the party was the unicorn pinata. Our kids had a pinata for their birthdays a couple of years ago and he very much remembers that candy drops out of those once popped open!
If I had to venture a guess, I would say that one of Alia’s favorite parts of her birthday party was opening her presents! I took Laura and John with me when shopping for Alia’s presents and Laura insisted upon a Mini Lalaloopsy Doll and a Lalaloopsy Gel Sticker Set. She even told John, “You are a boy and you don’t understand. Lalaloopsy is the best!” Of course, while Alia was opening her presents from Laura and John, they both had to stand right next to her to watch her open both the presents.
It was a great birthday party for the big girl! We were happy to go and the kids had a great time! Love you Alia!
