It was a busy night in the Kassel household. Laura came home from school with her first ever math homework. We decided to tackle a bit of it before eating dinner. She completed three of the six pages. We’ll help her wrap up the rest of it on Sunday.
After dinner, it was time for family movie night! We haven’t had one in a while mostly because my beloved Hot Air Popper went to Happy Appliance Heaven. Please don’t feel sorry for the Hot Air Popper. It had a good, long life… My Uncle Al and Aunt Ruth gave it to me for high school graduation. I’m thinking after 20 years, it deserved a break. Since, according to Andy, you *cannot* watch a movie without popcorn, we had to wait until I finally got around to getting a new one. It came in this week so we declared Friday family movie night! We made a surprising choice – Raiders of the Lost Ark – and the kids loved it! They both stayed up through the whole movie. I think we’ll be watching the others soon.
Woo! Math homework! I gave my kids homework this weekend, but it wasn’t 6 pages! 🙂
