While watching Laura put together a puzzle, I was struck by how much like my Mom she is in some ways. She can pick up a puzzle piece and put it exactly where it needs to go with just a glance at the piece. Also like my Mom, Laura is ridiculously fast at putting puzzles together. I wonder if someday soon she’ll be doing 500-piece puzzles in less than an hour just like my Mom. I told Laura that she was very much like Grandma Marianne when it came to puzzles and Laura replied, “That must be where I got it from Mommy!” Exactly my thought too.
