While watching the news this morning, we saw a story about Union Pacific Steam Engine #844. The train is taking an excursion trip through Missouri. One of the first stops was Jefferson City where it was on display for the day. So right after work, we picked up the kids and headed for Jefferson City.
Both kids were excited and very curious, but John was the most interested of the two. He simply loves trains. He was amazed by everything and very disappointed when we had to leave. We got some nice pictures and a little fun time with the kids. A great day!
